<p>At the end of this course the delegate will be able to describe: How the maintenance, faulting, repair and testing activity may affect the safe operation of the railway. The procedures that need to be followed to ensure operational and personal safety are maintained during the work. How to avoid personal injury during work. The procedures that apply to taking the equipment out of operational service and what procedures apply to handing back the equipment to operational service. How the relay based interlocking is designed to function under normal operating conditions.</p>
