They will learn the immediate steps to take when alerted to a drainage related rapid response event and when arriving on-site. Participants will also gain an understanding of the Rapid Response key steps outlined in the Drainage Maintenance standard NR/L2/CIV/005/11, the importance of the Drainage Management Plan in rapid response situations, the decision making process for immediate action during flooding events, and the steps to close the rapid response activity and follow-up. By completing this module, participants will have the knowledge and skills to effectively respond to drainage-related emergencies and follow the appropriate protocols outlined in the standards.
