<p>This e-learning course covers the vegetation and tree management lifecycle, the process and technology used in evaluation, tree and vegetation species types and habitats, reasons for deterioration/failure, and priorities of the Environment & Sustainability Strategy. Participants will learn about relevant Network Rail Standards, the difference between strategic and tactical evaluation, data sources, technology for data storage, and the role of different species and habitats. By completing this course, participants will gain an awareness of the knowledge needed to effectively manage vegetation and trees, conduct evaluations, and consider environmental sustainability in accordance with Network Rail guidelines. Upon completion of this course and successfully passing the assessment, Level 1 Professional Competence will be awarded.</p>

<p>This face-to-face practical training course focuses on tactical evaluation in vegetation management. Participants will explore the purpose and triggers of tactical evaluations, learn effective risk management strategies, understand the decision-making process, and learn the importance of strong communication skills. This course also includes practical demonstrations on data analysis, collaboration, and presenting solutions. By the end of the course, participants will possess the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct thorough and effective tactical evaluations in vegetation management in line with Network Rail guidance. Recommended pre-learning for this course: Vegetation Inspection & Maintenance Level 1. It is also recommend that delegates familiarise themselves with the following tools before attending this training course: · StrEAMS, ARET, Geo-RiNM, Ellipse, Fault Management System. These systems will be referenced extensively throughout the course and will form part of the final practical assessment.</p>
