If you are responsible for initiating, managing, contributing to or reviewing the Emergency Weather Response then this course is for you. This course aims to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of how operational roles within Network Rail or the wider industry respond and manage extreme weather. The course is split into 5 lessons and a knowledge assessment: Lesson 1 – The five-stage EWR process in review Lesson 2 – Stage 1: Awareness Lesson 3 – Stage 2: Preparation Lesson 4 – Stages 3 & 4: Respond & Recover Lesson 5 – Stage 5: Review Lesson 6 – Test Your Knowledge This course will not award a competence.
