Course Description
<p>This course is designed to train all STSM, Section Supervisors and individuals identified for progression into those roles. It is designed to develop a person's knowledge, understanding technical skills and management skills. It is therefore particularly suited to persons required to prove their capability in these areas.</p>

Recruit Personnel<br />
Manage sickness, leave and staffing levels for direct reports <br />
Conduct 1:1 performance meetings for direct reports<br />
Manage development of self and others<br />
Conduct developmental/annual capability reviews<br />
Undertake Continuous Professional Development (CPD)<br />
Manage discipline<br />
Carry out Investigations in line with required protocol<br />
Build effective relationships<br />
Manage team dynamics<br />
Maintain local Trade Union relationships<br />
