<p>This module will enable delegates to: - Operate the PLPR system - Process and implement data review to deliver Tier 1 inspection of plain line track using the PLPR system - Identify and manage PLPR system faults. - The track inspection requirements as defined by Network Rail Company Specification NR/L2/TRK/001and NR/L3/TRK/1015, which defines the requirements of Basic Visual Track Inspection of plain line track - The inspection methods and techniques used to complete inspections including visual and physical checks in plain line track - The types of defect that may be encountered in plain line track and explain how to identify any defects or variations. - The acceptable limits of each type of defect or variation and the action that shall be taken when un-acceptable limits are reached in plain line track - How different environmental and operating conditions may affect the Inspection</p>
