Manage, verify and confirm track handback

Course Description

This course is designed to develop delegates who are responsible for Manage, verify and confirm track handback as part of their duties on Network Rail Infrastructure. It is designed to develop a person’s knowledge, understanding and skills and is therefore particularly suited to persons required to prove their capability in these areas. This course focuses on tactical management but is also aimed at delegates who aim to progress from roles of Track Maintenance Engineer (TME), Assistant Track Maintenance Engineer (ATME), Section Manager (SM (T)), Senior Asset Engineer (SAE), Principal Technical Officer (PTO) and Rail Maintenance Engineer (RME).

Audience

This course focuses on tactical management but is also aimed at delegates who aim to progress from roles of Track Maintenance Engineer (TME), Assistant Track Maintenance Engineer (ATME), Section Manager (SM (T)), Senior Asset Engineer (SAE), Principal Technical Officer (PTO) and Rail Maintenance Engineer (RME). Delegates: 1. Must be a minimum age of 18. 2. Must hold a valid Sentinel Track Safety Card endorsed with PTS, IWA or COSS. 3. Must meet the medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Medical Fitness Level 4 4. Must meet the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol). 5. It is deemed that delegates who wish to attend these learning interventions should possess either: It is deemed that delegates who wish to attend these learning interventions should possess TRK 501B course. Note: Evidence should be captured using the Witness Testimony form will need to be submitted as part of the Pre-Learning. Pre course learning will be recorded BEFORE the commencement of the course. All delegates must achieve 80% of the pre course knowledge check and delegates will have two opportunities to pass. Failure on the second attempt will mean, they cannot attend the module and require more action learning for a time period no shorter than 3 months. A development plan should be utilised, to seek to develop their knowledge and skills in relation to Manage, verify and confirm track handback course.
