<p>This 2-day Instrumentation Engineer Training Course is designed for signalling technical support and investigation engineers who need to use complex instrumentation directly connected to the signalling system.</p> <p>The training course is designed to fulfil the additional training and assessment requirement set out in NR/SP/SIG/10064 General Instructions to Staff Working on S&amp;T Equipment, NR/GI/U033 Use of Monitoring and Test Equipment.</p>

Audience

This course is aimed at signalling technical support and investigation engineers. Pre-requisites: Before attending this training a person should hold the following competences at Level 3 (or above): Sig 24 - Ensure effective progression of work and use of resources during signalling testing, maintenance or installation activities. Sig 25 - Take and relinquish responsibility for Signalling equipment. Sig 26 - Implement and monitor safe working systems for signal engineering maintenance and renewal activities. Sig 42 - Work safely on Signalling Power Supplies
