<p>This course is for those S&amp;T technicians who will be required to undertake maintenance and fault finding activities on the EBI gate 630 level crossing barrier.</p>

Audience

This is a course for all staff that will be installing and maintaining the Ebi Gate 630 Barrier Systems. It will explain the basic operation, maintenance and faulting procedures. Staff attending should have SEM1, SEM2.

Undertake corrective and preventative maintenance of: Track Circuits, Electrical Signals including AWS and TPWS, Signalling Power Supplies, Signalling Cables. Undertake initial diagnosis of failures to determine the necessary course of action , Undertake initial diagnosis of failures to determine the necessary course of action.Fault Finding, Ensure effective progression of work and use of resources during signalling testing, maintenance or installation activities, Take and relinquish responsibility for Signalling equipment, Implement and monitor safe working systems for signal engineering maintenance and renewal activities, Work safely on Signalling Power Supplies
