This course combines the 2 day Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting and the 4 day Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm, into a 5 day course. This course covers: HSE legislation and guidelines, overview of the chainsaw and maintenance equipment, maintaining the saw chain, maintaining the guide bar, power unit maintenance, starting the chainsaw and pre-cutting, cross-cutting timber and felled timber, felling, branch removal - snedding and de-limbing, take down hung-up trees using hand tools and clear site and chainsaw checks.
