Electrical Safety Awareness eLearning

Course Description

This eLearning provides the pre-requisite for all additional Signalling Power courses and is comprised of 5 modules.

Module 1 aims to build on your current knowledge of safe working practices on and around the electrical equipment which forms the signalling power distribution system.

Module 2 will help you to understand Live and Dead working on or near signalling power distribution equipment above 175 V AC in accordance with NR/SPS S001.

Module 3 will help you to understand the Live Working requirements in accordance with NR SPS / S002.

Module 4 will help you to understand the Isolation of Electrical Supplies in accordance with NR/ SPS S003 and the basic isolation procedure.

Module 5 will help you to understand how to safely access equipment housings and the entry and exit procedures contained within NR/SPS S004
