Course Description

•    Explain the risk assessment process
•    Outline the emergency planning procedures relevant to the work area
•    Summarise current health and safety legislation and industry good practice.
•    Carry out a visual site-specific risk assessment
•    Select and wear appropriate PPE in accordance with industry good practice.
•    Provide appropriate control measures for the identified hazards and risks.
•    Work in a way which promotes health and safety, is consistent with relevant legislation and industry good practice
•    Dispose of waste in line with work specification.
•    State the procedure for removing a trapped saw
